NUI Galway Health & Safety Office
The department of Health & Safety in NUI Galway is charged with advising on matters regarding Safety, Health and Welfare at Work. They ensure the health and safety of staff in their workplace and to provide advice, training and assistance on health and safety related matters.
The Health & Safety Office retained Efficacy Limited to create a website that adhered to the University's brand identity guidelines. This required a dynamic user interface design which incorporated features that allowed for easy navigation of the website.
The department had a specific requirement for the creation of an automated online booking mechanism for training courses. In addition this booking system was to link into an automated reporting module accessed via the content management system which Efficacy Limited created for them.
Users also have access to a latest news feature, a training courses calendar for 2008 , a file library with downloads and links, as well as access to services provided by the Health & Safety Office such as Risk Assessment, Monitoring Services, Emergency Information and Resources.
